Jacqueline C. Magid – Principal
Jackie Magid has over 15 years of consumer branding, business development, strategic marketing and e-commerce experience, with a focus on the luxury hospitality industry. She is a dynamic team player with a proven track record of implementing impactful marketing campaigns for companies. Currently, Jackie is a principal and consultant at her own firm, Inviato Hospitality Marketing Group, where she provides marketing and strategy expertise to luxury boutique hotels, villa properties and travel web sites.
Previously, Jackie was a Senior Consultant at Kasel Luxury Marketing Group, a luxury hospitality and travel consultancy. There, Jackie developed a 5-year strategic plan and marketing launch plan for WaterColor Resort and Inn, a David-Rockwell-designed inn and beach resort currently ranked as the 7th best hotel in North America by Travel & Leisure. Prior to this, Jackie was Director of Marketing at Zagat Survey, where she oversaw all consumer and trade marketing of the $27MM global publishing business. Jackie also held several senior business and marketing positions in the travel, interactive and consumer card divisions at American Express Travel Related Services, where she worked for eleven years. There, she developed Gold & Platinum Card Travel Services including Fine Hotel & Resorts, oversaw acquisition and retention activities for the consumer travel division, re-launched the Executive Gold Card and was a key team member in the launch of the first company’s first online business travel application.
Jackie holds an M.B.A. in Finance/International Business from New York University, Stern School of Business and a B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. During her junior year abroad, she attended Universite D’Aix-Marseille and University of Paris – Sorbonne. She completed the Graduate Certificate Program in Hospitality Industry Studies at New York University, Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management in 2009 and, as part of this program, held a 7-month assignment in the Strategic Planning Department at The Leading Hotels of The World.
Jackie lives in New York City (the best city in the world…after Paris) with her husband and three children (her two daughters, Vanessa and Justine, and Golden Retriever, Champ).
